Three AJ+C projects shortlisted in the 2020 AIA NSW State Awards

AJ+C has been recognised by the Australian Institute of Architects with three projects shortlisted in the 2020 NSW State Awards. Shortlisted projects include:

Cardinal Freeman
Shortlisted for:Urban Design.
The master plan and buildings by AJ+C breathes new life into the site, delivering significant new open spaces while preserving and highlighting its heritage value, and bringing a new level of resident amenity and community engagement.

The Burcham, Rosebery
Shortlisted for: Residential Architecture – Multi Housing.
This remarkable project embraces the site’s unique history, re-using the former 1918 Wrigley’s Gum Factory building as residential apartments. Our additions included: two new 4 and 5 storey apartment buildings.

Meriden School – Lingwood
Shortlisted for: Education Architecture.
The design incorporates six new low-rise classrooms and the refurbishment of Lingwood House, a heritage-listed Federation house on the site, with adjoining outdoor spaces landscaped for learning and play.
