The new UWS Penrith library was officially opened by His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley, AC, DSC (Ret’d), Governor of NSW, on April 1, 2015. The new library provides dynamic spaces for student interaction, is a 4*-rated green building, and allows access to 390,000 paper books and 17 million electronic titles. Vice Chancellor Barney Glover announced the new building would be named after Emeritus Chancellor John Phillips, AO, at the ceremony. Video produced by the UWS Production
