An integrated seniors living village A significant site in Ashfield, NSW incorporating the historic Glentworth House is set to become an integrated seniors living village following Department of Planning approval in April 2013. Set on a beautiful and historic site it will provide community facilities such as a health spa, library, function rooms and extensive views to the city and Blue Mountains from the upper apartment levels.
Up to 240 apartments in a mix of 1 bed with study, 2 bed with study and 3 bed, as well as a residential aged care facility of approximately 100 beds, will be constructed in stages, replacing existing residential buildings designed and constructed in the 1980s.
The Master Plan will create a significant amount of new open spaces, enhancing the historic buildings and providing a new level of legibility and amenity to the site.
