Salesforce Administrator (Part-time)

Allen Jack+Cottier(AJ+C) is home to great architects, designers and office professionals. We currently seek an experienced Salesforce administrator to provide support and advice to over 80 professional staff.

  • Fixed term contract (12 months)

  • Position Summary
    Working in our Design & Information Technologies Team and reporting to the Practice Manager, the Salesforce Administrator will lead the ongoing development and maintenance of our salesforce-based system. This role is part technical, part Salesforce administrator and part business analyst. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the execution of day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our platform.

    Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Admin certified

  • Experience required:

  • Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
  • Experience with Large Data Volume implementations in Salesforce
  • Strong understanding of the platform with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Ability to translate business needs into requirements, effectively present information verbally and in written form

  • Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Serve as AJC’s primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment
  • Lead the on-going development and maintenance of Salesforce in the business
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Assist in training users and grow the Salesforce skill set across the business
  • Identify and prevent pain points in system adoption and features rollouts
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
  • Manage reports & dashboard building and maintenance
  • Assist the IT team in communicating with external vendors and developers
  • Implement Salesforce automation (workflows, process builder, approval processes)
  • Communicate effectively with employees when troubleshooting Salesforce queries and meeting day to day business needs

  • Desirable capabilities:

  • Ability to read and write Apex classes and tests
  • Basic web development experience (JavaScript, HTML/CSS) to build custom components and features with Aura and/or Lightning web components
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications
  • Experience with Aprika Mission Control
  • Familiarity with SOQL queries
  • Analysis and design skills as well as strong attention to detail
