Ian is one of our most talented and accomplished designer and team leader with over two decades of experience across a wide range of masterplanning, urban design, commercial, medical and residential projects.

He has had leading design roles on several award winning projects including: The Masteplan for the Sydney Fish Markets that won the 2017 World Architecture Festival (WAF) Futute Projects Award and Future Masterplan Award; The Charles Perkins Centre for Obesity, Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease, that was awarded the 2015, NSW AIA Award for Educational Buildings; Blackmores Campus, Warriewood that was awarded the 2010, National RAIA Award for Sustainable Architecture and The Pier, Cairns, that received a Commendation Award for commercial redevelopment in the 2008 Queensland RAIA Awards.

Although Ian has an extensive and rich experience in the design and design development of buildings, he also has a particular interest in masterplanning, urban design and the interface between landscape, public domain and architecture, having recently delivered a 40 year masterplan for Loreto Normanhurst and taken a leading role in deliving Stage 1 DA approval for over a billion dollars of redevelopment works for The Maquarie Centre, NSW.

He is exceptionally good at working with clients to develop strong briefs, analysing planning controls and guide-lines, assessing site constraints and opportunities, and resolving complex issues.
