Ian is a talented and accomplished designer and team leader with over twenty years of experience across a wide range of education, commercial, residential, retail and masterplanning projects.

He has had leading design roles on several award winning buildings including the Charles Perkins Centre for Obesity, Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease that was awarded the 2015 AIA award for Education; Blackmores Campus, Warriewood that received the 2010 RAIA award for Sustainable Architecture and The Pier, Cairns that was awarded the 2008 RAIA, Queensland Chapter commendation for Commercial refurbishment.

Ian has a particular interest in urban design and the interface between landscape, public domain and architecture. He is exceptionally good at working with clients to develop strong briefs, analysing planning controls and guidelines, assessing site constraints and opportunities, and resolving complex issues.
