A versatile architect with extensive international experience, John is a Senior Associate who has worked on a range of project types from education to commercial, education hospitality, residential and sporting and facilities. John has worked on many public buildings including library facilities in Sydney and New Zealand. John is currently Project Architect for the Heffron Centre Master Plan and Polaris, a 218 apartment, high rise residential tower in North Sydney.

John has also been project architect on multi-award winning educational and sports projects The Judith Poole Sports Hall at Abbotsleigh School and the Milson Island Indoor Sports Stadium.

Prior to joining the company in 1997, John worked in London for eight years, where he was involved in the design coordination of a number of major projects, from concept design to completion. One of these was a headquarters building for British Air-ways, comprising offices for 2,500 people in a park setting centred around an enclosed street. It also provided access for a 700 seat restaurant, a training centre, auditorium, and parking for 1,800 cars over two basement levels. John’s retail experience also includes the Lakeside Regional Shopping Centre in Essex, United Kingdom, and the Genting Centre, which includes a hotel, retail and a cinema (also prior to joining Allen Jack+Cottier).

Since joining AJ+C John has worked on a range of projects, recently performing the role of Project Architect on Abbotsleigh Multi-purpose Hall,. sports field and carpark and the UWS Library, Kingswood Campus, Penrith, and currently Oran Park Commercial 1 and Oran Park Residetial project in the new town centre
