Matthew brings to each project extensive experience in residential, retail, commercial and heritage design.
He has played a key role in a number of AJ+C’s major projects. His student housing experience incorporates projects at the University of New South Wales and Macquarie University, both in Sydney, and at Brisbane’s Queensland University Technology – a project commended for two Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) Awards (2008).
Matthew’s portfolio of Sydney retail architecture includes the Macquarie Shopping Centre cinema complex, the Sydney Centrepoint Tower refurbishment and fitout, and the $450-million Rouse Hill Town Centre project.
Matthew’s heritage design and conservation experience has been bolstered by adaptive reuse work at Jackson’s Landing, Pyrmont, NSW, and the hotel redevelopment of an 18th-century manor in Chandler’s Cross, UK.
