Allen Jack+Cottier offers a unique reimagining of inner Sydney’s grand old warehouses for the Residential Precinct Development.
Urban dwellings for the 21st century A combination of exciting elements characterises the Residential Precinct Development. Massive brick facades with a blue-black mottle and red base reflect local heritage warehouses. Solar stacks puncture the skyline, while adjustable screens of timber or aluminium slats provide shade and privacy, adding to the drama of the facade. Cantilevered sky apartments provide a counterpoint to the vertical solar stacks and are finished in iridescent metal cladding.
An intriguing hidden world The development’s exterior spaces provide an array of surprises, with grand sky-lit Arcadian entries, inventively landscaped courtyards and roof gardens and unexpected cantilevered forms.
Inner-city community The Residential Precinct Development provides 314 apartments and townhouses on three blocks with access to Sydney Park, the Inner West’s eclectic mix of restaurants, cafes and shops, as well as trains and buses.
