Russell is a senior associate who has worked on several of AJ+C’s major residential projects, most notably as project architect on Cambridge Waters, Baoshan. This is a new urban development in Northern Shanghai that consists of over 4,000 apartments, community facilities and a town centre. Another major project in China was the Jin Sha Zhou residential development in the west of Guangzhou.
He was the project architect for the design process on the Kogarah Town Square project – a benchmark in a mixed-use, environmentally sustainable development, which comprises commercial, retail and residential space.
Russell has extensive experience in the design of large car parks of over 500 spaces, including both public and private car parks which have been integrated into larger developments. He has also worked on several retail centres in Western Australia, in Perth, Freemantle and Erina Fair on the Central Coast.
Landmark AJ+C residential projects for which Russell has been project architect include: Moore Park Gardens, the Hudson, the Colgate Palmolive redevelopment and Quay Point Apartments.
Russell is accomplished at successfully completing projects and surpassing client’s expectations.
In 2004, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the company, Russell was promoted to the position of Associate, and to Senior Associate in 2007.
Russell’s latest completed project is the V by Crown development in Parramatta. This comprised 585 apartments including 72 serviced apartments spanning over the remains of 1800’s convict huts.
