Allen Jack+Cottier is home to great architects, designers and office professionals and we are currently seeking an experienced HR Manager to providing support and advice to over 80 professional staff.
This broad generalist role includes coaching managers on employee relations matters and focusing on a wide range of HR functions including:
Allocation of architectural staff to relevant project work.
Recruitment and induction of new staff.
Performance management including coordination of the annual review process.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment legislation.
Maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Ensuring compliance with Work, Health and Safety requirements.
Managing the Injury Reporting, Worker’s Compensation and Return to Work processes.
As a HR professional with high integrity, you will also possess the following:
The ability to communicate and influence effectively with all levels of employees.
A proven track record in the delivery of a range of HR activities.
Well-developed consulting skills and HR generalist experience.
Sound knowledge of HR policies, procedures and systems.
The capability to operate autonomously.
Relevant qualifications in HR or related discipline.
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
Knowledge of HR best practice and the Fair Work Act workplace legislation is expected as is Microsoft proficiency.
