AJC and LENSW Co-Host Site Visit for Award-Winning Reddam House North Shore

AJC, together with LENSW (Learning Environments New South Wales), is proud to co-host a site visit of the award-winning Reddam House North Shore, located within the iconic Harry Seidler-designed Simsmetal House.

This adaptive reuse project, which took out the 2025 NSW Architecture Award for Heritage – Creative Adaptation, transforms a modernist commercial building into a vibrant, future-focused school campus—carefully balancing the integrity of the original architecture with the demands of contemporary education.

Join us for a guided tour led by AJC’s project architects, who will share insights into the challenges and design thinking behind preserving a significant heritage structure while delivering a world-class learning environment.

Tour highlights include:

  • A rich array of learning and recreational facilities, including a performance space, sports hall and gymnasium
  • Cutting-edge science and design technology laboratories
  • Contemporary classrooms, music studios, multiple libraries, and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Sydney Harbour

Reddam House North Shore sets a new benchmark in educational design—where sustainability, innovation and respect for heritage come together to inspire the next generation.
