AJC announces Dua Green as Chief Executive Officer; with Michael Heenan continuing as Chair of the Board and Design Lead

AJC is proud to announce the appointment of Dua Green as Chief Executive Officer, marking a dynamic new chapter in the studio’s evolution. Dua brings a strong strategic vision and a deep commitment to design excellence, innovation, and collaborative leadership.
AJC Architects long-serving CEO and Director Michael Heenan will continue as Director, Chair of the Board, and Design Lead, remaining actively involved in AJC’s design direction including mentoring teams and leading major projects across the studio.

Her recent success leading the Reddam House project—recognised for architectural excellence at the 2025 AIA NSW Architecture Awards—is a clear reflection of her design talent and forward-thinking approach. I’m excited to support her as we continue to build on AJC’s strong foundations.”

Known for her people-focused leadership style, Dua is committed to a supportive, inclusive and collaborative studio culture—one that enables creativity to thrive and prioritises professional growth, diversity and wellbeing.
She has played a pivotal role in reinforcing AJC’s position as one of Sydney’s leading architectural practices, particularly through her work leading the education sector. Her approach is grounded in deep consultation with school communities—students, staff, and leadership—to translate educational philosophy into meaningful, inspiring spaces. Major projects completed by Dua and her team have been shortlisted for both local and international architecture and learning environment awards, including the Abbotsleigh Senior School Centre for Science & Art, the Abbotsleigh Junior School Library & Innovation Centre, among others.
Dua will work closely with AJC’s experienced leadership team, ensuring continuity, stability and a shared vision as the practice moves confidently into its next phase.
Under Dua’s leadership, AJC will continue to shape spaces that reflect the values of the communities they serve—while embracing innovation, sustainability and design excellence across all sectors.
