AJC Architects Featured In Education Matters Magazine

AJC Architects is thrilled to be featured in Education Matters magazine for our collaboration with Inspired Education and Built on the transformative Reddam House North Shore project. Together, we're managing the upgrade of the iconic Harry Seidler-designed Simsmetal House into a cutting-edge K-12 campus set to open in 2025.

The new campus will offer state-of-the-art facilities including performance spaces, a theatre, modern classrooms, high-tech science and design labs, music rooms, multiple libraries, a gym, and stunning outdoor terraces, all while preserving Seidler’s architectural legacy. This adaptive reuse project exemplifies sustainable design and heritage preservation, breathing new life into a historic building while meeting the needs of a modern learning environment.

This project was about being respectful of the existing building, the client’s drivers and putting them altogether to create a school that really functions. Every little piece of the building is working. A core project principle is that when an element goes in, it’s doing multiple things.
