AJC shortlisted for Harbour Park

AJC Architects was part of a team shortlisted in the Barangaroo Harbour Park Design Competition.

AJC was honoured to be shortlisted alongside four pre-eminent collaborative teams in the two-stage invited design competition for Harbour Park, Barangaroo.

The new 1.85 hectare Harbour Park will be the heart of the Barangaroo precinct on the western foreshore of Sydney’s CBD. Integrating open recreational spaces and public art, Harbour Park will form the transition between the natural headland of Barangaroo Reserve and the intensely urban commercial district of Barangaroo South — a complement for Barangaroo Reserve, but with its own unique character.

A design competition is being held to find a design that responds to the aspirations for Harbour Park to be timeless, provide a strong sense of place and connect with Country.

AJC will be collaborating with PWP Landscape Architecture, CLOUSTON Associates, Re-right Collective (Dennis Golding + Carmen Glynn-Braun), Claire Healy + Sean Cordeiro, Urban Art Projects, Blaklash Creative, GML Heritage, Cundall.
