Architect Andrew Fong joined AJC in April 2022, with over a decade’s experience in design and delivery, and a passion for projects that make a difference.

In the education sector, Andrew worked on the landmark Arthur Philip High School in Parramatta (BVN & Grimshaw), the first high-rise public high school in New South Wales, plus new schools and campus additions in the ACT and Sydney, and upgrades to primary schools in Western Sydney and Wollongong.

Andrew has also designed non-institutional learning environments for public settings including the award-winning Marrickville Library (BVN), the Creative Learning Centre (CLC) at Sydney Opera House, and Hyde Park Barracks Museum Learning Project (Hayball).

“The complexity of this sector is about accommodating very specific user needs and identities, organisational influences and budgets. The reward is the chance to create inspiring education spaces that help set the next generation of up with the best opportunities to succeed.” Andrew Fong

“With our growing portfolio of SINSW and independent schools, AJC is excited to have Andrew join our team. He brings a wealth of experience on milestone projects, plus a passion for this sector. The great privilege of working on education projects is that we are literally helping shape our future generations.” Dua Green, Studio Director AJC.
