Eungai Creek Campus Recognised at 2026 LEAD Awards

AJC is pleased to share that Eungai Creek Campus has been recognised across two categories at the 2026 Learning Environments Australasia LEAD Awards.

Presented annually, the LEAD Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the design of learning environments across Australasia, recognising projects that support meaningful educational outcomes and positively impact students, educators and communities.

Eungai Creek Campus was awarded:

  • Winner – New Campus with Educational Facilities
  • Commendation – Innovative Education Initiative

Set on Dunghutti Country, Eungai Creek Campus reflects Newington College’s vision for immersive learning, sustainability and connection to place. The campus creates opportunities for Year 9 students to engage with community, service and the surrounding landscape in meaningful ways.

Designed as a term-based residential learning campus, the project brings together education, accommodation, agriculture and community-focused spaces within a highly sustainable setting shaped by the surrounding landscape and local context.

AJC is proud to have worked alongside Newington College and the wider consultant team to help bring this ambitious vision to life.

The recognition follows the project’s recent shortlisting in the 2026 NSW Architecture Awards across both Educational Architecture and Sustainable Architecture categories.
