Judges’ Citation, Learning Environments Australasia Awards 2023

AJC is delighted to be recognised at the 2023 Learning Environments Australasia Design (LEAD) Awards. Greenhalgh Centre for Music and Drama has received a commendation in the ‘New building/s or facilities – Large’ category.

Designed to embody movement and musicality, this uplifting new arts centre adds a grace note to Meriden, an Anglican school for girls located in the inner west of Sydney, NSW. In form, materiality and finish, every element has been considered in rhythmic composition to inspire the student body to creative and musical excellence.

Organised by Learning Environments Australasia (LEA), the LEAD awards were open to all LEA members across Australia with the core mission of the awards to celebrate excellent learning spaces where innovative architectural ideas support the education philosophy.
