Fabiano Salmi
Studio Lead

Good design is delivering for people – clients, end-users, communities – as well as the land and ecosystems of a place.
Since joining AJC in 2012, Fabiano has developed experience across a broad range of project types; from successful design competitions and master plans, to the design, documentation, and contract administration of bespoke private homes. He’s developed a proven track record delivering high-quality projects from concept through to completion, and is skilled in the coordination and production of design documentation – considering all aspects of architectural design and client aspiration into his work. His single residential work on projects like Kiama House and Residence for the Anglican Archbishop of Sydney has seen him develop a considered design aesthetic and rigorous eye for detail founded on sound technical expertise, which he applies to projects at all scales. His work on various community and sporting facilities, for both government and private organisations, has resulted in transformational projects across Sydney and regional NSW. Fabiano has previously curated the Australian Institute of Architects Tusculum lecture series, and led AJC’s concept submission for the 2016 Architectural Biennale Australian Pavilion. He is currently AJC’s Reconciliation Action Plan Champion, leading our mission to forward Reconciliation both at a business operations level and through the design work we produce. |
