Meaningful architecture looks for ways to build a better future, sometimes tackling difficult issues.
A talented designer and Studio Lead, Michael is committed to design solutions that are pragmatic, joyful, and meaningful. Over 15 years at AJC, Michael has contributed to several award-winning projects including sports and education facilities, multi-residential, community and public buildings.
Environmental, social, and financial sustainability are central to Michael’s thinking and process, as are evidence-based design solutions that consider the overall material life cycle, carbon footprint and building performance.
Having completed a 6-month Carbon Literacy research project, Michael shared the findings with our studio teams, deepening our inhouse knowledge base. Michael is a skilled communicator, using clear language and great graphic representation to take collaborators and stakeholders on the design journey.
