The Southern Lookout Opens in Hornsby Park

We’re pleased to share that the Southern Lookout is now open as part of the first stage of Hornsby Park, marking a significant milestone in the transformation of the former quarry into a new bushland destination for the community.

Located within the Crusher Plant Precinct, the lookout offers sweeping views across the ancient volcanic landscape and surrounding bushland, opening up a site that has remained largely inaccessible for decades.

Designed in collaboration with Hornsby Shire Council, the project creates a new vantage point that invites visitors to engage with the scale, history and evolving character of the site.
