AJC helps secure $272 million for transformational projects in Western Sydney

AJC is proud to have contributed to securing a combined $272 million in funding (so far!) for Blacktown City Council, PCYC NSW, Western Sydney University and YMCA NSW from the NSW Government’s WestInvest Community Project Grants program. The program is intended to deliver transformational infrastructure projects that will enhance communities throughout Western Sydney. We look forward to seeing these incredible projects progress:

  • $78.5M for the new Indigenous Centre of Excellence at Rydalmere (Western Sydney University)
  • $44M for the expanded Camp Yarramundi (YMCA)
  • $40.6M for the expanded Mount Druitt Swimming Centre (Blacktown City Council)
  • $26.8M for the revitalisation of the Mount Druitt Hub (Blacktown City Council)
  • $25.4M for the expanded PCYC Mount Druitt (Blacktown City Council with PCYC)
  • $36M for the new Seven Hills Portal Community Resource Hub (Blacktown City Council)
  • $19.5M for the new First Nations Community Centre at Mount Druitt (Blacktown City Council)
  • $1.6M for the refurbishment at Ashley Brown Reserve North (Blacktown City Council)
