Michelle Farman

Studio Lead

A strong design solution is critical, not just for the concept stage, but at every stage of project delivery.

With over 20 years’ experience as an architect, project leader and educator, Michelle has worked across the range of scales and typologies from single dwellings and multi-residential developments to public, defence, sports, health and education projects and master planning.

As a Studio Lead at AJC, Michelle is working across the Oran Park mixed-use redevelopment, incorporating master planned multi-residential housing around the new town centre emerging around two premium commercial buildings by AJC – 3 Fordham Way and TRN House.

Michelle has a long relationship with Charles Sturt University involving the master planning, design and delivery of three main stages of its Port Macquarie campus renewal, creating a courtyard arrangement of teaching, admin and specialist vocational training spaces.

Michelle remains actively involved in education through academic design review panels and knowledge sharing within AJC. Her passion for architecture extends to the arts, and outside the studio, Michelle enjoys drawing, ceramics and jewellery design.
