The building, once comprised of closed cellular classrooms and traditional lecture spaces in an uninspiring setting has now been opened up to accommodate specialist teaching spaces for both Schools, and has become a visual and accessible setting, encouraging interaction, participation and display.

Western Sydney University (WSU) is continuing to grow its presence in the national and international academic community and has delivered new benchmark teaching facilities for specialist disciplines within the Schools of Humanities and Communications Arts, and Computing Engineering and Mathematics. The new facilities within the existing Building EA, Parramatta Campus at are the latest in a run of projects recently designed by AJC.

These courses offer fascinating and interactive curriculum, focussed on activities, group work and production. We have delivered contemporary and flexible teaching spaces, dedicated studios and laboratories and collaborative workspaces, forming an accessible and articulated “streetscape”. The result is a dynamic and appealing setting for education, research and exhibition which reinforces WSU’s approach to providing progressive campuses.
