Brian Mariotti

Director

The social aspects of student housing are critical. We’re designing environments for young people who are often living away from home and family for the very first time.

As an AJC Director, Brian works across multi-residential, mixed-use and tertiary student accommodation sectors, and across varying typologies and scale from single-site projects to precinct zoning and planning. Collaborating with Government, commercial and institutional clients, Brian is involved in the master planning and design of key university innovation precincts in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

His work in tertiary student accommodation creatively combines disparate strands of learning, working and living spaces, into cohesive, engaging environments, and this informs his approach across urban housing and creating communities.

In leading multidisciplinary teams of place-makers, Brian’s focus is on the transformative elements of a project that enhance its context and raise performance benchmarks across the sustainability triple bottom line – social, environmental and economic.
